Petrie Polo laarzenHet karakteristieke kenmerk van het Petrie Polo is de ritssluiting aan de voorkant. De schacht sluit slank om de enkel. Een 2e kenmerk is dat de laars een lagere contrefort (hiel versteviger) heeft. Hierdoor is de druk op de enkel minder en vergroot het draag comfort (dit in tegenstelling met de dressuur laars waarvan de contrefort hoger is) en maakt deze laars ook zeer geschikt als training laars.De laars is geheel kalf leer gevoerd en aan de voorkant bij de rits is een afsluit riempje. De boog van de schacht is 5 cm. Doordat de laars zo slank mogelijk om de enkel wordt gesneden, zal het slippen van de voet minimaal zijn en de schacht vrij exact aanliggen.
